It means a lot that you’re here.
My love for the art of communication began in journalism, but over time I became more interested in the stories we tell ourselves - and how those stories shape the way we live and connect.

I first went to therapy at age 11 for anxiety. What I learned wasn’t how to become someone different - but how to understand and navigate my emotions with more awareness and kindness. I also learned how to communicate with others in ways that foster healthy, satisfying relationships.

Those early experiences led me to explore beyond traditional talk therapy into more experiential and somatic work. I’ve learned that our bodies hold so much of our story - and that real healing often happens when we begin listening to what’s underneath our words.

I’m grateful to support you as you navigate this path.

A great therapeutic relationship is a truly unique blend of attunement, trust, and humor. Therapy is a place to be fully human. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and encouraged to explore. That’s where transformation often begins.

I can empathize with what you are going through

In Relationships: This work has changed how I show up in my own relationships, to see even the simplest moments as opportunities for connection. I love the Gottman Method because it acknowledges that conflict matters - but so do the moments of closeness that surround it. When couples deepen their understanding of each other and strengthen connection in everyday moments, they begin to transform the patterns that keep them stuck.

With Addictions: I understand the ambivalence of letting go of something that has provided comfort, even when it’s caused harm. When I show up with nonjudgmental curiosity, clients begin to meet themselves in that same way. Together, we uncover what drives you and build confidence in your ability to create lasting change. The transition into early recovery is both fragile and full of possibility.

With Trauma: I have seen - and experienced - how our past shapes our story. Trauma can also impact how we connect, how safe we feel, and how we experience desire. When we begin to understand those links, we can find relief and start to feel more in control of our responses. Healing often means looking back - not to stay there, but to free up space for new experiences, deeper relationships, and peace in the present.

because I have been there.

Testimonials

"I started working with Lauren when I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I had previously dealt with PPD after the birth of my first child, so I wanted to make sure I was taking steps to help me through my second pregnancy and birth. Lauren was amazing! She listened to me, and I really felt like she cared about me as a person, as well as a client. I trusted her as I was able to open up to her about a lot of grief and loss I had experienced in my past. I will always be grateful to Lauren for everything she did for me!"

Testimonials

"Lauren was attentive and truly cared. She really understood what I was going through during postpartum and gave me tools to cope with my situation. To this day, I still use strategies she suggested. My overall quality of life improved after receiving perspective from her"

Testimonials

"I was very nervous to start therapy again when I met Lauren, and she helped me to understand the importance of working through and talking about my past traumas
and situations"

Testimonials

"I felt truly seen and able to let my true self out. I always felt like the conclusions I came to were things I knew deep down. She asked the perfect questions instead of telling me what or how I feel. Since therapy, I listen to my intuition more and embrace the challenges of life. I see myself as a growing person on a journey and I recognize the work I’ve put in to heal with her help"
